TIMSGARRY HERITAGE AT A GLANCE

Timsgarry Heritage is a private collection of the ecclesiastical, environmental, cultural and other history of Baile na Cille Church (Uig, Lewis), Uig (Lewis), the wider Outer Hebrides and Scotland's north western seaboard).

From November 2010 to October 2023 the custodians of the church were also the owners of this private collection, but the church now has different custodians.

Baile na cille church

We collect materials that tell the environmental and ecclesiastical history of Baile na Cille church.

Cultural history

We collect art, music, literature, artefacts and other materials that tell the history of Uig (Lewis), the Outer Hebrides and Scotland's north western seaboard.

Cultural project

We collect materials related to the journey taken with Hulabhaig, between 2019 and 2023, to create a new and important cultural hub for Uig (Lewis) with positive impacts for wider Hebridean and Scottish communities.
